What This Agent Does

This isn't a text chatbot. This is a voice-first agent powered by Vapi and n8n. Your reps speak to it just like they would a real prospect.

The agent simulates four distinct, difficult buyer personas:

  1. The Skeptical CTO: Demands technical proof and hates marketing fluff.
  2. The Budget-Conscious CFO: Obsessed with ROI and cutting costs.
  3. The Eager VP of Sales: Wants to buy but needs help building a business case.
  4. The Protective Gatekeeper: A protective assistant whose only job is to block you from the CEO.

How It Works

We built this workflow using n8n, Vapi (for ultra-low latency voice), and Google Gemini (for the scoring logic).

Here is the automation loop:

  1. The Call: A rep initiates a voice call via the Vapi interface.
  2. The Persona: n8n dynamically configures the AI's personality and difficulty level (Easy, Medium, or Hard).
    • Hard Mode is designed to be stressful—the AI will interrupt, challenge assumptions, and demand evidence.
  3. The Conversation: The rep navigates the call in real-time.
  4. The Analysis: Once the call ends, the transcript is sent to a Gemini agent acting as a "Master Coach."
  5. The Scorecard: The agent grades the rep on a 1-10 scale across 7 categories, including Discovery, Active Listening, Objection Handling, and Closing.

Why It Matters

This workflow creates a "safe failure" environment.

  • Objective Feedback: Humans are biased; the AI uses the same strict rubric every time. It gives specific feedback on exactly which questions the rep missed.
  • Repetition: A rep can practice handling the "Your price is too high" objection 20 times in a row until they nail it.
  • Manager Efficiency: Instead of listening to hours of call recordings, managers can simply review the generated "Key Moments" and "Strengths/Weaknesses" summary.
