Today, we are open-sourcing one of our internal tools: The Inbound Sales Qualification Agent. It’s a customizable AI template built on n8n and Google Gemini that acts as your 24/7 Sales Development Representative (SDR).

What This Agent Does

This isn't just a chatbot that spits out generic answers. This is a state-aware agent that actively interviews your prospects.

1. It Interviews: It engages inbound leads via chat or SMS, asking natural follow-up questions.
2. It Remembers: It stores every answer in a Google Sheet database in real-time.
3. It Qualifies: It checks off criteria as it learns them (e.g., Budget, Timeline, Authority).
4. It Adapts: It knows what information is missing and only asks about what it doesn't know yet.

The "Magic" Feature: Use Any Methodology (BANT, MEDICC, SPIN)

We included a Dynamic Column Scanner into the workflow. This means you don't need to write code to change the qualification rules. You just change the headers in your Google Sheet.

• Want to use BANT? Name your columns Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline. The AI will automatically ask questions to fill those cells.
• Want to use MEDICC? Rename them to Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria.
• Have a custom question? Add a column called Favorite_Color. The AI will literally ask the user what their favorite color is.

How to Set It Up (~ 10 Minutes)

We’ve packaged this logic into a downloadable n8n template. Here is how to launch it:

1. Download & Import: Import our JSON template into your n8n instance.
2. The Sheet: Create a Google Sheet with a session_id column (Column A) and your methodology columns (Column B+).
3. Connect: Link your Google and Gemini API credentials in the clearly marked nodes.
4. Launch: That’s it. Your agent is live and ready to qualify.
