A Typical AI Sales Agent Building Project

The steps to building and launching an effective AI sales agent are generally as follows:

1. Discover: You tell us what you want the agent to do. We work with you to define the scope of the agent's work and what success would look like.
2. Design: We lay out the workflow and present for review before building begins.
3. Build: Our engineers construct the workflow and its tasks. In this stage, we build out the initial context data structures and sources.
4. Implement: We put it all together to get an initial prototype functioning.
5. Integrate: We coordinate with your team to connect the agent to the systems it needs to access. This can include your CRM, email system, phone dialer, meeting platform, and website.
6. Performance Tune: After the workflow is functioning from end to end, we tune it to performance at the speed and with the effectiveness required.
7. Evaluate: The agent is put into production, sometimes in a limited capacity at first, and its activity is closely monitored to ensure it is doing its job well.
8. Fine Tune: Training data is refined and context engineered to deliver optimal responses and also to minimize inference costs.
9. Report: The agent's dashboard is configured to show its activity levels, performance, and levels of customer satisfaction.
10. Adjustment: Additional work is done to address edge cases and performance nuances.

A Successful Engagement

The performance of an AI agent is never perfect at first. It generally requires a few weeks to get a simple agent running, longer for a complex agent. It may take weeks or even months to get an agent to perform at an optimal level. Technologies change and customer expectations change.
